Last week I discussed George Monbiot's (author; Heat) new prediction of a sudden and catastrophic rise in sea levels as a major ice shelf loses its underpinning and falls into the ocean. I received a reply I'd like to share.It's a website based on Google Maps that is going to scare the whillikers out of all you sea-changers who've just invested your superannuation in a seaside shack/mansion/retreat.
The link allows you to go to your own locality and see the effect of sea level rises. It only goes to 7 metres. George is predicting a 23 metere rise....
Note: I'm not sure whether it will work without Google Maps and broadband.
