Cassie's favourite non-sugar sweetener, Stevia, is now classified as dangerous by the FDA, the US Food and Drug Administration.
What is the nasty ingredient that makes it dangerous? Well, they aren't saying it actually. In a classic cock-a-hoop legal wallahbagumbo, they are banning it because they CAN'T find any data about any nasty ingredients.
Because they can't find any, they are assuming there might be nasties in it. Got that?
If you want to see how they state their case, click here for a couple of pages of sheer bumpf.
Of course one might suggest that because the big soda companies are researching it as a replacement for Aspartame, a bit of political pressure is being brought to bear?
Surely not....

If you are consuming enough sugar that you feel the need to switch to artificial then you need to have a good look at your diet - there are enough natural products (eg Fruit) that fix the sugar craves!
Have you tried Xylitol natural sugar replacement? If so what do you think as we have been using it for a couple of months now and I have not found any conflicting arguments against it. { moderation of course !!!}
