It's growing...

The international movement to ban the plastic non-recyclable water bottle is growing daily. Prepare to hear more about this issue.
Last year, at least two billion kilos of plastic bottles ended up in US city waste streams.
It can cost US cities more than $70 million in dumping and incineration fees alone.
Making bottles to meet Americans’ demand for bottled water required the equivalent of more than 17 million barrels of oil last year and generated more than 2.5 million tons of carbon dioxide emissions.

Ian: What amazes me is how sex is used to sell water. What is the message of the pic above - albeit one of the more moderate ones? Why is a woman used to sell water?
