A Strange Conjunction of Events

Event One; I get three spam emails from the same sender, advising me to invest in Oncology Med. Inc., a 'Cancer Treatment Solutions Group' which they claim has experienced over a 1000% increase in revenues for the fiscal 3rd quarter ending July, 2007 compared with the prior year while fiscal fourth quarter results for 2007 are on track to exceed this year's third quarter results.

The Spams advised me;
"Don't wait for the news to come out and lose the opportunity to get in front of the general investing public. Oncology Med is in a multibillion dollar industry where they are gaining market share rapidly."

Yep, business is obviously good.

Event Two:
Maree, one of our alkaline specialists received a call from one of her customers. The customer's neighbour had cancer so she told her that she could come in at any time and take free alkaline water. The neighbour took up her offer. Some months later the client asked the neighbour how she was going. "Oh, the cancer is in remission. I asked the doctor if the alkaline water could have helped - and he scoffed."

It'd be an economic calamity if water assisted cancer, wouldn't it?......
