Queenslanders first to drink 'purified poo'

Yes, it's happening. The government is about to supplement Brisbane's dwindling water supply with poo-strained water. Check it out.

So.. what can you do?

Well, the options aren't many. The real problem is two-fold:
(a) The water has to be fluoridated after treatment. The only way you can get rid of fluoride is through an activated alumina prefilter (our water ionizers get rid of a lot, but not all) or Reverse Osmosis.
(b) The pharmaceutical compounds that have passed through the body into the sewerage system can continue through into the water supply. Even before this latest addition of filtered poo-water, pharmaceuticals are already in our water supplies. We and the experts are in the same dark room about the effects of this problem, but there are telling signs, especially in London where the water is recycled up to five times.
There are only two good ways to effectively reduce these in-solution pharmaceuticals; Reverse Osmosis and ozonation. RO reduces it through microscopic filtration, ozonation oxidizes it into harmless mineral salts.

If you'd like to learn more, just key in pharmaceuticals in drinking water into Google.

if you are thinking about a new water system to counter this problem we can assist in two ways:
(a) A water alkalizer with a fluoride-reduction prefilter or
(b) An RO system with attached alkalizing cartridge.

I heard there's a new machine that finds drugs in water in real time. Not sure if it's real. Read it at

Is this legit?
