Only Three Minutes. What a pity!

MARINO, ITALY — Human error caused wine to flow from kitchen taps in about a dozen homes during this town’s Sagra Dell’Uva, an annual Grape Festival, according to an October 8 article on news.bbc.co.uk.

Traditionally, sparkling white wine is introduced into the fountains in the town’s main square during this annual festival. This year, the wine was accidentally diverted into 10 to 12 local homes and a bar. The flow of wine lasted about three minutes, according to the article.

Festival-goers come from throughout Europe to attend the event.
