Des Wiggins called me up this week. He's been telling people that Coke was pH 2.5, and he was pulled up by a doctor friend who said that was impossible, that it would burn all the way down. (Each 'point' in pH represents a ten-fold increase of acidity, so 2.5 would have ten times the 'burn' of 3.5).
So I decided to settle it once and for all.
