Chris, the designer of our Alkaway To Go automatic refiller for alkaline ionized water, paid us a visit over Christmas and related an amazing tale about a user of our water. It seems in Chris' hometown he has a regular consumer who puts it to an er.. unusual use. You see, his customer is a heroin addict who swears that mainlining (yes, injecting!) alkaline ionized water is the best thing since sliced bread to overcome the 'downer' of his high.
It's strange that when you learn something new, how collaborative facts appear. Brett, our support manager, told me today that his next door neighbour, a male nurse, informed him that the best remedy for a hangover when at work was a saline drip and a shot of pure oxygen.
We've known for some time that the Japanese use our water as a hangover remedy, but .. intravenous??
