Hangovers and Alkaline Ionized Water

We've long been told that the Japanese use ionized alkaline water for hangovers.
( Cassie and I tried it out once - a long time ago - but can't seem to remember much about it...)

Now we find a scientific report of rats tested for hangover relief using ionized water, and yes, dear drinkers, the answer is positive.
