What a really interesting article on Ginger. I have always loved it and I had been told by my friends mum who is 95 years old that it is 'good to eat ginger daily' Possibly the combination of ginger and alkaline wateris helping me to feel terrific

Great recipes - thank you. Ayurvedic texts state that honey should not be heated or added to very hot foods - the heat alters the honey and creates a toxin - something that scientists have apparently (4000 yrs later) proven. Please only add honey to drinks after they have cooled a little!

Also : 1/8th teaspoon (pinch) powdered ginger in hot water is a great digestive aid to be taken after meals.
