My computer is now pushing on towards five years of service and what it really needs is a RAM upgrade, but it is otherwise operating as it has always done. It had insufficient RAM to run Xp in the first place. A new monitor would be nice to clear the desk clutter, but it will have to wait. The IT junk pile is a big problem that the world has to deal with now, not in ten years time.
