Is Apple Cider Vinegar Alkaline when added to water?

Helen asked me this question this week. Here's my answer.

Hi Ian. But does that necessarily follow that it is acidic to the body? ie like lemons are acidic, but at the end of the digestic process the ash is alkaline? Cheers Helen.

It is a no brainer that Apple Cider Vinegar is going to be acidic as basically it is a form of acetic ACID, however if you have digestive problems it may be helpful in food digestion as many older folks are deficient in Hydrochloric Acid the their upper stomach may perhaps need more acidity and digestive enzymes to absorb the nutrients in their food.
Also advise whether Apple Cider Vinegar or such acids as Citric burn to give an alkaline ASH.
