Plastic is slowly but surely covering the planet. But what we don't see is the hidden or 'carbon cost' of that throwaway platic bottle. This website gives an amazing expose of the cost of drinking Fiji Water. Sure, they're no different than any other disposable water bottle, but the sheer volume of energy expenditure just to carry water is nothing short of stupendous.
